When there are many contributors to a study pad, it's difficult to discern who has written what using color coding. e.g. The difference between pastel orange and pastel red is very subtle.

Because using bright colors would probably be unreadable, perhaps you could add information on hover. When I hover on text, I can see who wrote that text.
